Greenville Federal Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union located in Greenville, South Carolina with $410+ million in assets, over 32,000 members, and five branch locations. All member accounts are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. The credit union was founded by nine Greenville County School district employees as an educator’s credit union in 1968. In 2001, the credit union converted to a community-based charter to serve anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Greenville County, SC.
